Responsibilities: <br>
In a fast-paced work environment, under the direction of the assembly supervisor, with technical support from the test manager, the Test Operator will test a variety of electronic boards and assemblies. The Test Operator will be required to perform testing to verify the quality of products and to record results using manufactured test equipment and in-house built test fixtures. The Test Operator should be familiar with electronic test equipment including audio precision, real-time oscilloscopes, signal generators and  meters.  Familiarity with power supplies is a plus. The Test Operator must be self motivated, able to work independently and be willing to take on other duties and projects as assigned.  The Test Operator should have good verbal and written communication skills and be familiar with both digital and analog devices.<br>

High attention to detail<br>

The Materials Manager reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for the overall management of the material storage and movement systems from the time they are received,  through manufacturing,  and ultimately to shipping. This position is responsible for the new product introduction and qualification of new products and the manufacturing support of existing microwave synthesizer products. The successful candidate will be required to analyze a design and characterize performance prior to any hardware build. In addition the engineer must provide data showing proof on concept of the assigned design task.  <br>
<br>
Although capable of working alone on tasks this senior position requires the engineer to organize and direct from time to time a small group of technicians, assemblers, electrical and mechanical engineers toward a successful completion of an assigned product introduction or manufacturing project.  This includes detailed task layout, tracking individual and group performance against project task as well as estimating labor and material expenditures.     As project lead you are also expected to make project change recommendations to management in order maintain the project’s schedule, cost and technical goals. <br>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br>

Directs electronics engineering and technical personnel in new product introduction and fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment ensuring that products are tested for quality according to schedules and standards.<br>
<br>
Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations. Analyze and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic engineering and management personnel.<br>
<br>
Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to execute and implement test procedures. Interface with personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.<br>
<br>
Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.<br>
<br>
Writes code for computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.  Creates test manufacturing routers describing type and sequence of tests to be performed on products by technicians. May administer quality systems within the department as defined by Microsource’s Quality requirements.<br>
<br>
Completes all phases of software release for automated test.<br>

QUALIFICATIONS:<br>

-	Education: Bachelor’s debree (B.S.) in electronics, computer science, or related disciplines; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br>

<description><![CDATA[Business is booming at Brush Wellman - Electrofusion Products and we need some high quality helping hands on help to ensure that our customers continue to receive the high quality beryllium parts they have come to expect from us. We are looking for a CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to perform a variety of machining assignments in accordance with Electrofusion’s manufacturing specifications and quality standards.  Some of the primary responsibilities include:

1.	Responsible for setup, operating and tool adjustments for a variety of conventional and CNC machines, primarily CNC lathe.  SurfCam programming preferred but not required.
<br>
2.	Works from blueprints and process sheets to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
<br>
3.	Checks and inspects machining operations against specific tolerances. 
<br>
4.	May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
<br>
5.	Keeps traceability of all material/parts being processed.
<br>
6.	Completes required process control sheets together with material/part.
<br>
7.	Interfaces with other manufacturing personnel on progress of assigned tasks.
<br>
8.	Notifies appropriate personnel of problems with material, process, or delivery schedule.
<br>
9.	Performs other duties as assigned.
<br>

If selected, you will work on assignments that are semi routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. You will normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Education and Skills
<br>
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
<br>
2. Must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ machine shop experience or on- the- job training / trade knowledge equivalent to training received in a formal apprenticeship program.
<br>
3. Machine shop experience should include CNC machines, ability to add and subtract decimals and fractions on drawings and measuring instruments such as calipers and scales.
<br>
4. Must be able to use basic hand tools normally associated with mechanical assembly and test.
<br>
5. Must be able to communicate verbally with fellow employees as well as management personnel using English as the primary language.
<br>
6. Knowledge of GD&T.
<br>
7. Must be able to perform all duties of a Machine Operator with sustained use of appropriate safety devises such as but not limited to respirators.
<br>
8. Working knowledge of Beryllium products desired but not required.
<br>
