Job → RoR Web developer
ZURB (www.zurb.com/talent) is looking for a Web Developer to work with us on our new product. As an interaction design and strategy team who has helped countless companies bring some of the best products to market, we're excited to be working on our own. Our web application compliments our company's design strategy focus. We need someone who can come in and really own the development of this product. Ruby on Rails seems like a good fit for the product and team, but we're flexible in working with another platform if you can argue for how it makes sense.
We’re a close-knit team that helps companies design better websites, services, and products online. We’ve been around over 10 years and have over 75 startups in our client roster. Our clients range from large, well-known companies that we’ve helped for years (e.g., Photobucket, Zazzle, Playlist.com, the New York Stock Exchange) to brand-new startups just finding their feet (Qik, TinyPic). They all came to us based on our reputation of delivering killer ideas that work. We’re creative thinkers, risk takers and refuse to look at our work as just a job. We like fun projects and constantly push each other to get better at our craft.

What skills do we need?
As a Web developer, here are some of the things you'll be expected to do:
You've got to be a stellar thinker who knows how move from brainstorm to prototype quickly. In a start-up business it all comes down to momentum—how do you release something fast to your customers that works? You have to be comfortable with change and not fall in love with your code. Mistakes are good, rapid iteration is great. You need to be articulate and a good writer so that the whole team 'gets it.'

This position is available immediately, pays competitively and is full-time. You'll be working in our offices in downtown Campbell, where we have parking spaces, a Wii and a good attitude.
